The GOP House majority will not impeach him because they are afraid of him. Even if they did, the GOP majority Senate would not convict and remove him. Perhaps if millions of us sent him EXIT signs for Christmas, he'd get the message.

Under this administration, lawful orders are… murky at best. The President is a criminal, an adjudicated rapist, a sexual predator. A malignant narcissist, a psychopath with dementia and delusions of grandeur.
The Secretary of Defense is a fucking joke. A poser, a man who only commanded a platoon on active duty, on who was given positions that commanded a handful of soldiers. Promoted to Major in the IRR. Totally unfit for the position he currently holds.
So when a missileer third class on a destroyer or cruiser in the Caribbean Sea is given the order to press the “fire” button… targeting alleged drug traffickers. Without evidence, without due process.
Is he or she following lawful orders?
Can she or he say “no, this is an unlawful order.” But the order came from the CIC, from the SecDef, from the Admiral in charge of the flotilla sitting off shore.

A federal judge ruled today that it was illegal for Trump to deploy the military into DC, so that was an unlawful order which it seems would apply to all of his orders to other Dem cities. Therefore, the ranking officers must refuse to send their troops.
As a U.S. Air Force veteran and former U.S. Government teacher, this is beyond unacceptable. Service members swear an oath to the Constitution — not to a president — and they are required to refuse unlawful orders. That’s basic civics and military law.
For a draft-dodger who ran from service to call for the execution of Democratic veterans who actually wore the uniform? That’s sick, dangerous, and openly authoritarian. This isn’t politics anymore — it’s a threat to the rule of law. Trump is spiraling, and Congress needs to treat this like the emergency it is.
One of the problems is that giving unlawful orders when done as part of his official duties gets him a pass with the Supreme Court that conferred such a gift on him. Further, as CAC he would just pardon troops who do his bidding.
