Trump is preparing for the unthinkable…

We have stunning breaking news coming from the Pentagon and zero time to waste.

Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth have officially ordered 1,500 US soldiers to be at the ready in case Donald Trump decides to deploy them against US citizens in Minneapolis. Troops with the Army’s 11th Airborne Division in Alaska have been told to prepare.

Why? Because Trump is threatening to initiate the Insurrection Act.

Let me be clear: This is an unnecessary escalation meant to intimidate. It is meant to further grab power.

Think about the timeline here.

Nick Shirley makes a video about supposed fraud in Minneapolis that was already investigated years ago. If you want to investigate fraud, fine. Start an investigation. But Donald Trump decides to escalate by deploying thousands of federal troops to terrorize people in Minneapolis. Not to deport criminals, but to terrorize the people.

In the process, Renee Nicole Good gets shot.

The Trump administration decides to escalate even further. That’s all they know how to do. They cover up the investigation, spike it, and claim Renee Nicole Good was a “domestic terrorist” 45 minutes after she was tragically murdered. It was awful.

So, people take to the streets peacefully. They say, “Hey, you can’t just cover this up.”

Guess what Trump’s response was?

It was to further effing escalate. Suddenly there were 3,000 federal troops in Minneapolis compared to 600 local enforcement. People are saying, “Dude, Trump, you should be done.” But he is still not done grabbing power.

Governor Tim Walz deployed the Minnesota National Guard, and he did it in the best way possible. The Guard was mobilized to stage support for local law enforcement. As Adam Cochran points out, if the Guard is deployed by Governor Walz on a mission to support state agencies, then Trump cannot use the Insurrection Act to take control of them.

Walz also made a direct appeal to the president, writing a letter asking to “turn the temperature down.” I find that respectable, but honestly? Written letters to Donald Trump don’t mean anything to him. Written letters don’t mean anything to people who want authoritarian power.

Of course Trump should turn down the temperature. But the better move Walz made was utilizing the resources he had to fight back against Trump’s relentless power grab.

Because look at what Trump is doing.

He wants to deploy the 11th Airborne Division. That’s not extra security. It’s an elite airborne combat unit built for rapid force projection. You don’t deploy paratroopers like this unless you’re escalating.

Congress needs to stop watching from the bleachers and do its job, because what is happening in Minneapolis is fundamentally unconstitutional. Homeland Security even posted a video claiming they can ask for papers based on “reasonable suspicion,” and they got fact-checked by Elon Musk’s Twitter!

The Fourth Amendment requires probable cause for arrests. This administration is literally getting high school level civics questions flat wrong. What an absolute joke of an administration.

Meanwhile, Elon Musk is cheering this on.

Elon Musk, the “free speech guy,” is clapping as Donald Trump prepares to deploy actual troops to Minneapolis. He’s saying Ilhan Omar should be put to death for swearing in a sentence, but thinks it’s fine for Trump to target the Mayor and Governor of Minnesota.

It is batshit crazy. The richest man on the planet, who wasn’t even born here, is calling for our politicians to be executed while cheering for martial law.

Donald Trump claims he’s “removing some of the most violent criminals in the world.”

If he were actually just targeting criminals, no one would have a problem.

If the videos were of gang members or murderers getting deported with due process, we’d say, “Yeah, okay.” But that is not what is happening.

Every single video I see is a US citizen being pushed to the ground. Or having his eye shot out. Or getting shot in the back of the head. We see US citizens having their ribs cracked and elderly protesters being handcuffed with no due process.

It is absolutely absurd.

The Pentagon says the soldiers are from the 11th Airborne based in Alaska because they “specialize in cold weather operations.” So they are trying to deploy units meant for the cold because ICE is slipping around too much in Minneapolis?

Are we serious here?

The Lincoln Project says this has been the plan all along: Foment violence and chaos, implement the Insurrection Act, declare martial law.

We have people abroad saying “keep your hands off our damn country,” and we have Americans in blue cities revolting against a regime trying to hyper-militarize our streets.

Keep protesting peacefully and patriotically. I’ve seen many photos from fans and it truly means the world to see you get out there alongside your fellow Americans.
