Trump Is Disappearing When It Matters Most. His Cabinet Is Panicking.
Trump refuses to read and it's causing real problems
Hey everyone, it’s Adam Mockler. Thanks for supporting independent journalism. I don’t rely on corporate sponsors or billionaire investors. This work continues because of you. If you’re reading this, you’re the reason I keep going.
Let’s get into it.
This morning I broke down a disturbing new NBC News report. Donald Trump is refusing to take his daily presidential briefings. The same briefings that every modern president has relied on to make decisions about war, peace, terrorism, global markets, and national security.
He is skipping them.
According to multiple sources, Trump has sat for only 14 briefings since taking office. That is less than once a week. And what’s worse is how his Cabinet is reacting. They’re not confronting him. They are trying to disguise the intelligence briefings as Fox News segments just to get him to pay attention.
That is not satire. That is the Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, exploring whether to turn classified national security briefings into TV segments with animations and Fox-style hosts.
They are building cartoon intelligence reports for a man who controls the military.
Let that sink in.
This is not just a president who is distracted. This is a president who is actively avoiding classified information and cannot complete the most basic tasks of his job. He disappears during the most important time of the day and his staff is brainstorming how to trick him into doing the job he was elected to do.
And it is already affecting policy.
He is getting walked over by Vladimir Putin. He routinely claims not to know about international events. He freezes in press conferences and seems completely unaware of major military developments. At this point, it's not just negligence. It's incapacity.
And yet no one in his party will say it out loud.
Instead, they’re attacking Biden’s age while defending a man who cannot sit through a security briefing without cartoons.
This is not leadership. This is not normal. And if we pretend it is, we lose everything.
You will not hear this on cable news. You will not read it in a Wall Street Journal op-ed. But I will keep reporting it here. Because this matters.

More soon,

Biden had (and has) spinal arthritis, peripheral neuropathy (both linked to a previous car accident, and affecting his gait, making him physically look frail), and his speech impairment is back, in part. He is also ranked by all nonpartisan studies near the top of all US presidents, and Trump (first term) near the bottom, in terms of achievements. Biden could sit in a wheelchair and he'd still totally outperform Trump.
And Biden has a moral spine of steel. Trump has none.
Instead of catering to someone unfit for the office, the unfit person should be removed from office.
