Trump Has HAD IT With Kash Patel

The story coming out of Washington tonight tells you everything about where Trump’s second term is headed. The Trump White House is wobbling. Marjorie Taylor Greene just resigned and took part of the Republican majority with her. The internal knife fights are getting louder. And now the person Trump handpicked to run the FBI is circling the drain.

Kash Patel is not just facing bad headlines. He is facing a full internal revolt after spending his first ten months in power doing two things. He helped bury the Epstein files and he used taxpayer funded jets to fly his girlfriend around like he was the CEO of a private airline. There are credible reports that he even used SWAT teams as her personal security. This is exactly the type of behavior Trump claimed he would eliminate in Washington. Instead he hired it.

The clearest sign that things are going sideways came when Patel publicly questioned whether the Epstein files would ever be released in full. Think about how wild that is. Trump’s own FBI director sounded exactly like the deep state Trump claims to be fighting. Even Marjorie Taylor Greene said Patel had become the swamp. I never agree with her but on this one she accidentally told the truth.

The administration tried to calm things with one quick photo. Caroline Leavitt rushed out to say the entire story was fake because she happened to be in the room when Trump was smiling for the camera with Patel. This is classic cleanup behavior. Trump sees the fire, forces a staged picture, hopes the headlines go away, and sends his comms team out to pretend none of it is real. But the people leaking these details to reporters are inside the building. They know Patel is on thin ice and they know Trump has been privately eyeing Andrew Bailey to replace him.

This fits the pattern we have been watching for months. Trump has been trying to avoid any cabinet turnover because the chaos in his first term still hangs over him. He promised he would pick the best people. What he delivered was one firing after another, followed by another round of chaos. Now he wants to look stable. The problem is that the people he picked are the ones dragging him down.

Pete Hegseth has been sinking Trump during Signalgate. Pam Bondi has been sinking him throughout the Epstein mess. And Kash Patel is now sinking him as well. When these people fail, the failure lands on Trump’s shoulders. His approval is dropping across immigration, the economy, and the Epstein files because the public sees him protecting people who are not doing their jobs.

The most embarrassing part of the Patel saga is the sheer stupidity of it. A government jet used for date night in Pennsylvania. SWAT teams reassigned to babysit his girlfriend. Golf trips to private resorts in Scotland on the public dime. Every detail sounds like a parody of Washington corruption, yet it is coming from the guy Trump empowered to run federal law enforcement.

This is what happens when Trump elevates influencers, TV personalities, and podcasters to positions that normally require decades of experience. Andrew Bailey was quietly inserted as a co deputy director because Republicans themselves admitted the person under Patel had no experience. That is why agencies crumble. There is a difference between being tired of elderly politicians and pretending that any random broadcaster can run a federal bureau.

Trump wanted loyalists. What he got were liabilities who now threaten to drag down his entire governing coalition. And firing Patel will not fix the deeper problem. Trump built his own swamp. He stacked it with loyalists who were never qualified. Now he is shocked that the place is rotting from the inside.

The more he tries to hold it all together, the more the cracks show. Tonight is only the beginning.
