It’s beyond disturbing. We know there is a separate system for the 1% because none of them are squawking about not seeing these reports. They know. They find more ways to squeeze us this way.

Tariffs have been a payday for corporations. Raise prices because greed, blame tariffs. Write off tariffs. Easy.

I’m sick of this bullshit. I’m battling brain cancer with no insurance. No insurance because my husband was laid off by a big tech company 8 months ago after 13 years of outstanding work and performance awards. The moved his job, and his team’s jobs, to India. Unemployment covers the mortgage and bills,

Nothing left for the $2400 per month insurance policy that I need to see my specialists. And now that will double or triple. Tens of thousands laid off in the Pacific Northwest in tech, no jobs, companies too terrified to breathe under this regime. I can’t get disability benefits even though I worked 30+ years and faithfully paid my taxes. We’d have to be indignant to qualify. It’s unreal my life is based upon my spouses old income and our resources that are tied up. We may have to sell our home and move to another state for him to work. I’ll lose my incredible medical team. However, as it stands, specialists won’t even see uninsured patients even if we offer to pay in advance.

So, do we lose our investments for retirement that is supposed to be in just a couple years, or do I just die? This is not the Golden Age of America. It’s the wealthiest’s Golden Egg of America. I’m sure the goal is to kill the rest of us off anyways.

This is the new eugenics.

Eugenics could be a good thing especially when it comes to MAGATS. By now we realized that by every measure of depravity, MAGATS are extremely undesirable and pose a threat to civilization itself. The red states are an example of this particularly in the Bible Belt that has the highest rate of teen pregnancy, highest divorce rate, highest homicide rate, highest obesity rate, highest rate of diabetes, lowest IQs, most drug use. I’m not advocating executing these creatures but I think we should pay them to be spayed or neutered. If they are convicted of serious crimes they should be given the choice of prison or being spayed or neutered like a dog.

How do you think the world would be today if Fred Trump, the father of Donald Trump had been castrated? Fred Trump was a bad guy and so was his progeny. Donald Trump sired five kids that he acknowledges and every one of them are the scum of the Earth. We can theorize that they are that way because of bad parenting but I doubt if he was around for much of the parenting.

Most dangerous people in the United States are the filthy rich. They control the money and they control the power. People like that should not be allowed to procreate for the good of humanity. Anyone who is a billionaire by that fact alone is dangerous and evil unless maybe they won powered ball twice in a row.

Anyone who is OK with being obscenely wealthy is morally depraved. These people should not be permitted to breed. Treasonous Trump is calling fentanyl a weapon of mass destruction. The rich and powerful in the US really are weapons of mass destruction. Their depravity is in their DNA.

I do agree, the bad behavior not only of deep red state governments but also the general culture of such people who keep re-electing and have faith in such government is highly suggestive [In theory their governments are just as representative as New York or California's, so why are they so much more intolerant and cruel in character?].

That's also a good point about Trump's offspring: he seems to be an absentee father which makes his offsprings' poor behavior appear outside his influence, and therefore there likely is something inherently wrong with them, as is with DJT himself.

White supremacists, nazis and other cruel bigoted types clearly feel they need a "leg up" so that they don't have to prove their merit as individuals is as good or better than others who look different.

There's no better example than USA's top white supremacist, Steven Miller. He's a buffoon who has demonstrated since high school that he expected royal treatment despite being mediocre in all ways [The woman who felt he was worth spending her life with shows similar delusions of grandeur through her podcast.].

When S Miller gives public addresses detailing administration racist policies he sounds entitled and like someone who has no understanding of how laws actually work. What an imbecile! His moral failures are equally well known, such as the unnecessary, abusive and costly child separation policy attributed to him.

Not having government funded health care is a crime against humanity. Only in USA.

Good point. Obama care has been a disaster. It we the peasants to purchase healthcare from criminal insurance companies that ends up going to the worst healthcare system and the most expensive healthcare system in the world. Americans paid three times a world average for a really terrible healthcare.

American life expectancy has been declining since 2014. You can’t blame Covid for that. It gets worse! Maternal mortality rate has tripled since 1985 and we are spending a hell of a lot more for healthcare now than we were then. Our healthcare system like our government is a colossal failure designed to make the obscenely wealthy even wealthy, whether it is a corporate welfare rat like Elon Musk or the president and members of Congress who take bribes from corporate all day long.

Hopefully there will be a reckoning and just out of survival the ruling class will give up their wealth. They will do this by paying taxes.

If a piece of garbage like Elon Musk was in a 90% tax bracket if we actually had one, he would still be filthy rich and so would every other scumbag billionaire.

Many of American corporations are committing crimes against humanity and an example of that is Apple that uses slaves in China to make their products that are sold in the United States. This is why unless we have something like the Nuremberg trials crimes against humanity will continue and end up getting worse.

America is supposed to be government for and by the people and we all know that’s a lot of bullshit. Most of us realize that the American government is government for and by the corporations and the obscenely filthy ruling class. We are not much better than Russia or communist China. Maybe in some ways we are worse.

I agree with most of what you say except the second sentence "Obama care has been a disaster". - While it is nowhere near as good as universal health care, there's no way Obama would have gotten UHC passed in the current for-profit health care lobbied congress. I keep hearing over and over that those who benefit are terrified of the alternative when the ACA expires. Clearly Obamacare is highly appreciated.

It's also telling that while Trump has been promising for *years* that he'll produce something much better than ACA, at no point has he or the congressional republicans ever outlined what "better" would look like. Not even a plan, let alone action.

Even if we enter a depression the ruling class will still be richer comparatively.

The goal of fascism is to move money from the bottom to the top. We live in a fascist dictatorship. Corporate ism is fascism. We don’t have the rule of law because the filthy rich and their servants in our government are also above the law. Anyone who says we’re a democracy is delusional. The United States is no longer republic.

We can move towards being a republic and a democracy again but that will require equal justice under the law as the first step. To do it quickly we’re gonna need a military coup. After that I was going to have to be a larger version of Nuremberg where members of the ruling class are neutralized and the laws governing corporations are reformed.

No more billionaires. There will need to be equity in the distribution of wealth and if the filthy we simply take their wealth and if they resist they will find out the hard way that’s a mistake.

For me, I don't need "reports"--especially from this administration of liars--to tell me prices are skyrocketing and people are getting screwed. What blows me away, and I think it's tied into anything related to money, is the daily report I do get about Trump's latest grift, Melania's 40M biopic "coming out in theaters Friday," Jr.'s latest fucking $620 million government contract or Jared's "diplomatic" grifting. W.T.F!!!!!!!!!! Where is all this money coming from? It wasn't accounted for in the Big Bastard's Bill. HE WON'T STOP TILL HE BANKRUPT'S THE NATION.

When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of corporate criminals living together in society, create for themselves and the course of time a legal system that authorizes it an immoral code that glorifies it.

The action of corporate and most Republicans, especially Trump and his mob is, PLUNDER.

America is not a democracy and even worse it is no longer a republic.

Last year i mailed my Christmas boxes to my relatives. They were relatively heavy but i spent about $50 to ship a week b4 the holiday. Everything got there as planned. This year, same three boxes. They were lighter and smaller boxes. This time $100. I will send a crd and a gift card next year at the rate we’re going. This is after i spent more this year on fewer gifts.

Thankyou Adam for your truth reports!...We, the American people, are drowning in debt and have no money left over for food. This regime is taking away any help that democrats were able to pass for us low income earners, because Republi-cons consistently vote against any wage increases that dems can get to the floor for a vote. Republi-cons are willingly killing even their own members who still support them!!!! When can we stop this and how do we stop it??? Who has an answer and the courage to act!????

Trump did this same thing in 2020. Stop testing for COVID and the numbers look good. Track and report the real numbers, and HE LOOKS BAD.

Expand full comment
DavidPageYea's avatar

He was roundly embarrassed over hiding those numbers, too. Hopefully mainstream media will give DJ Trump the same rude awakening today over economic reports as it did over Covid-19 back then.

Even rightwing media should break from their usual gross support for this regime. Isn't their first duty to capitalists, and this is surely devastating to such profit.

Right, because when things are going great, the first move is always to unplug the calculator and shred the charts. Very “strong economy” energy. Trump’s solution seems to be: if you can’t fix the numbers, just make them disappear and yell “historic” until people stop asking questions. Too bad for him, the questions are going to keep coming.
