More idiotic executive orders! He does want a stupid country incapable of critical thinking. Isn't that the main MAGA cult?

So much is absolutely true here. I do want to give one nuanced point of view. I have a Master’s degree in education. However, son chose not to go to college. I support him 1,000 percent and am amazed by him every day. He is highly creative and started his own business in high school. He is now 21 and we just co-illustrated a children’a picture book I wrote teaching heart-centered living. He is very educated on social/political issues. His community of entrepeuners is the future of how we should be doing business, which is based on collaboration not greed and competition. I do believe it’s possible to raise children who don't fall victim to these fascist tactics. Some of that is not just about arcademic learning but emotional learning. Empathy is teachable. No child is born hating. We are going to have to get creative in how we can still reach children and young people if they choose a different route than college or if sadly, if these kind of tactics deter them from perusing college if that’s their dream.

Dumbing down the electorate has always been the objective. As has a heavily gerrymandered country as has the continuation of the electoral college as has GOP/Right WIng collusion in the tampering and corruption of the entire voting process. It's calculated, insidiously and carefully choreographed by mega donors,

What if he DOES know what he's doing? What if its all in a piece with instructions from his wealthy donors? Or Putin? Is it possible that Trump, himself, isn't coming up with all this on his own? On the other hand, think about this:

'It’s rare for a professor to disparage the intelligence of a student, but according to attorney Frank DiPrima, who was close friends with professor William T. Kelley for 47 years, the prof made an exception for Donald Trump, at least in private. “He must have told me that 100 times over the course of 30 years,” says DiPrima, who has been practicing law since 1963 and has served as in-house counsel for entities including the Federal Trade Commission and Playboy Enterprises. “I remember the inflection of his voice when he said it: ‘Donald Trump was the dumbest goddamn student I ever had!’” He would say that [Trump] came to Wharton thinking he already knew everything, that he was arrogant and he wasn’t there to learn.” Kelley, who passed away in 2011 at age 94, taught marketing at Wharton for 31 years, retiring in 1982.'

Either way, under Trump, democracy in the US seems doomed.

Trump thinks he is so smart and doesn't want competition. What he doesn't know that a five year old is probably smarter than he is. His only "smartness" is in crime, lying, corruption and cruelty. If he was so smart he wouldn't have been in the Epstein files. He would have stayed away from the pedophiles instead of being with them. He would be able to make sense when he talks and he would know what the job of a real president is. He would know how not to be a traitor to his country and he would know that running the government and country takes qualified people. Just look at all the choices he has made. I, for one, don't believe that they were made by a smart person, but one that is dumber than dumb. Smart people don't have to have anyone kiss their a_s, be praised continually, hang pictures of themselves from tall buildings nor put us signs saying that the work done here was done by him, when it was done because of the previous president. Smart people don't treat others with contempt, nor do they put down everyone that they don't like. Smart people know what to say and how to act with dignity and that is something he doesn't even have a clue what it means.
