Zelensky is smart, but he can't afford to piss off Trump outright. That man has allowed himself to be degraded and disrespected to protect his country. But he did refuse to capitulate. This is why Marco Rubio is in discussions. I don't like Rubio as a politician, and I disagree that Russia should have any say in the peace treaty. But, for the most part Rubio seems to actually be listening to Ukraine. If I'm wrong let me know. Personal beliefs aside, if this treaty gives Russian an inch it could spark World War III. That's exactly why Hegseth is not in discussions.

I've said since this started to leave this to Europe to handle for now. Other than Rubio's off-hand comment that Russia should be involved what else has he done? I'm being totally genuine in my request. I've mostly focused more on Congress and DoD the last two weeks.
This is sickening! Ukraine’s sovereignty is their own and not for the US or Russia to decide. I don’t believe Zelenskyy would allow this kind of corruption. I do think the EU needs to get more involved and help provide Ukraine with the support it needs; it’s obvious the US President is corrupted and self-dealing. He should be impeached.
