Trump’s Bleeding Hands Freaked People Out. Here’s Why.
I don’t usually do this.
I don’t usually make a piece that’s just about a president’s health. Most of the time when I talk about Trump’s health, it’s tied to something else. Transparency. Power. What they’re hiding from people.
But this time, the health story is the story.
Because this isn’t just about age. It’s about denial. And it’s about an administration that is clearly running out of time.
There’s a Wall Street Journal article going around right now that includes an interview with Trump. And buried in it is one detail that honestly stopped me.
Trump’s skin is apparently so delicate that Pam Bondi caused his hand to bleed when her ring nicked him during a high five at the RNC.
That’s not speculation. That’s reporting.
And it matters because Trump’s entire brand is built on this idea that he’s untouchable. That he’s strong. That he’s different from everyone else.
Now his hands are swollen. They’re bruised. He’s covering them with makeup. And instead of being upfront about it, the White House is pretending people are crazy for noticing.
The article also says Trump is taking more aspirin than his doctors recommend. He refuses to stop. He admits he regrets getting advanced imaging done, not because of what it showed, but because it gave people “ammunition.”
That tells you everything.
He doesn’t care about his health. He cares about how it looks.
That’s how he operates across the board. He doesn’t care about process. He doesn’t care about results. He cares about optics.
It’s why he’ll scream that the economy is in a golden age while people are struggling to afford groceries. It’s why he attacks reporters instead of answering questions. Reality is inconvenient.
According to the piece, Trump barely sleeps. He struggles to stay awake during events. Aides have to speak louder in meetings because he strains to hear. He eats like garbage and avoids exercise.
And when confronted with any of this, he just denies it. He says he’s not falling asleep. He says he’s just blinking. He says nothing is wrong.
We’ve seen this pattern before.
Trump spent years accusing Biden of hiding health issues. Now he’s doing the same thing. Only louder. And with more hostility toward anyone who points it out.
And this is where it gets serious.
When leaders feel the clock ticking, they don’t slow down. They clamp down. They hide information. They lash out at the press. They try to lock in power while they still can.
If this Wall Street Journal piece was supposed to calm people down, it did the opposite. It made it clear that something is being hidden, and that Trump is more afraid of looking weak than of actually being unwell.
That’s not strength. That’s a problem.

He's taking extra aspirin for all the clots and prayers we've been sending. 😂
Age doesn’t discriminate like he does
