Trump Just Made His Epstein Scandal Even Worse
While the world watches war, economic collapse, and political chaos, Donald Trump is busy reposting Epstein's criminal defense lawyer to clear his name.

Elon Musk just lit a fire under Trump with one of the boldest claims of the year. He alleged that Trump is in the Epstein files, and that’s why the list hasn’t been released. Musk’s post racked up 200 million views and over a million likes. The country waited to see how Trump would respond.
Now we have the answer. It only made things worse.
Trump reposted a statement from David Shon, the lawyer who defended Jeffrey Epstein in his final days. Shon claims Epstein told him he had no dirt on Trump. That conversation allegedly happened nine days before Epstein died in federal custody. At the time, Trump was President of the United States.
That alone should set off alarm bells.
Shon represented both Trump and Epstein. That means any claims made in this context are not just biased, they’re a conflict of interest. A lawyer cannot publicly vouch for a client about another client without violating attorney-client privilege. Trump is effectively using his own lawyer to clear himself.
Meanwhile, Charlie Kirk is telling his audience, “Of course Trump is on the list. Who in Palm Beach wasn’t?” He says this like it’s a defense. It’s not. It’s a confession.
Back in 2008, Epstein got an infamous plea deal for sex crimes. The U.S. attorney who signed off on that deal was Alexander Acosta. Trump later nominated Acosta to be his Secretary of Labor. When Epstein was rearrested in 2019, Acosta resigned after the Justice Department criticized his handling of the original case.
That context matters. It tells us this was not some distant, casual connection. Trump surrounded himself with people who made Epstein’s crimes easier to bury.
And now, instead of focusing on economic issues or global diplomacy, Trump is spending his time on Truth Social defending himself from Epstein allegations.
Trump’s defenders will try to twist this into some kind of win. They will say this proves nothing. But just imagine the roles reversed. If a Democrat posted something like this, MAGA’s outrage would be instant and relentless.
The double standard is blinding.
The logic here is circular. Trump’s response to being tied to Epstein is to repost Epstein’s lawyer. The same lawyer who cannot legally reveal any damaging information anyway, because Trump was also his client.
This is not exoneration. It is panic.
If you are still with me, it is because you care about truth and accountability in a political landscape that is drowning in deflection and conspiracy.
