Trump Called It the “12 Day War.” It Is Now Day 13.
He pulled us out of the Iran Deal to spite Obama. Now my generation is left to deal with the fallout.

Yesterday, Trump declared victory in the Middle East. He posted a series of self-congratulatory messages on Truth Social, claiming he had achieved peace and even branding the conflict with his own label: the "12 Day War."
Just hours later, the ceasefire collapsed.
This morning, Trump was seen storming across the White House lawn on his way to the NATO summit, lashing out at reporters and cursing in frustration. Onboard Air Force One, he continued the tirade, launching personal attacks on members of Congress and attempting to shift the narrative away from the failed ceasefire.
Here is one of his original posts:
"During each CEASEFIRE, the other side will remain PEACEFUL and RESPECTFUL. On the assumption that everything works as it should, which it will, I would like to congratulate both Countries, Israel and Iran, on having the Stamina, Courage, and Intelligence to end, what should be called, 'THE 12 DAY WAR,'"
— Donald J. Trump, Truth Social
As we know now, this did not come to fruition. This moment feels new, but it is not. We have seen this before.
Two decades ago, the Bush administration led us into endless wars under the guise of national security. Today, we have a president who operates with the same arrogance but speaks in catchphrases and rage posts. The tactics have changed, but the consequences are familiar.
What makes this even worse is how avoidable it all was.
Trump pulled the United States out of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action — the Iran nuclear deal — not because it was flawed, but because it was signed by Barack Obama. His decision to shred that agreement eliminated the strongest diplomatic tool we had in the region.
That one move reignited tensions, undermined our credibility, and set off a chain reaction that led us here.
This is not just about Trump. It is about the cost of performative politics. It is about what happens when a president chooses pride over peace. And it is about what happens when those decisions are made by people who will never have to pay the price.
My generation will.
We will inherit a Middle East more unstable than it was before 9/11. We will inherit a world shaped by these reckless choices. And we will be the ones who have to figure out how to clean it up.
The takeaway is simple:
Trump did not end a war. He branded it. He took credit for a peace that never existed and then blamed everyone else when it fell apart.
This is not leadership. It is chaos dressed up as strength.
If you want to help build something better, support independent voices who are telling the truth. That starts right here.
It is a shame that more people of your generation aren’t like you. By actually voting or by voting blue, they could have made a real difference. This will be a hard lesson for them to learn.
You are so right, Adam. How did you become so smart, so young? I hope that you are able to reach our young generation with your wisdom. We need a lot of people like you, telling the truth and caring about the USA. Keep up the great work.
