He does sound like the type of politician favored by trump and his administration. On the other hand, James Talarico is in favor of banning congressional stock trading (the practice that has enriched the president as well as members of Congress), as well as gerrymandering. His net worth is less than $200,000 (what?). He has received donations from PACs, but not AI or crypto. The man is a public school teacher, an average Joe like you and me. There is no comparison between these two men. If you are entitled and think becoming wealthy by criminal means is justifiable, then Paxton is your guy. If you are struggling and see no relief in sight, cast your ballot for James Talarico. He will work for you.
It's shameful that even if members of Congress privately disagree with him, they stay silent for fear of being primaried. Good for Massie for voting against Trump's bill last year though it cost him his seat. I hope he runs again as an Independent.
