Republicans Revolt over Trump’s Racist Rampage

Dozens of Republican lawmakers have denounced Trump’s disgusting racist meme mocking the Obamas.

Trump just deleted this post, although we can’t just let this slide by. This is not normal. Trump got his entrance into American politics through racist birther conspiracies about Obama, and now he’s coming full circle.

This is a continued pattern that we have to call out. Here’s another clip of Melania Trump demanding to see Obama’s birth certificate.

Racism is at the core of Trump’s political strategy, and we need Republicans in power to grow a spine and call it out. Sadly, we only ever see Republicans break from Trump when they’re heading out of office, like MTG.

Caroline Leavitt tried defending Trump’s post depicting the Obamas as monkeys with this statement:

“This is from an internet meme video... Please stop the fake outrage and report on something today that actually matters to the American public.”

This should matter to the American public. I’ve said this thousands of times before, but this is not normal. The president of our country should never post AI videos depicting his political opponents as monkeys. You could literally never imagine Putin or Xi doing something this outrageous and disgusting.

Trump has been slipping mentally so his worst tendencies are more noticeable, but this is who he’s always been deep down.

He launches sexist attacks on reporters that ask him difficult questions, he launches racist attacks on other politicians, and the only people safe from his wrath appear to be anyone listed in the Epstein files.
