Putin Is About To Humiliate Trump on U.S. Soil

Putin is winning without firing a single shot.

Putin just humiliated Donald Trump before the meeting even began. This so-called summit in Alaska is not a diplomatic breakthrough. It is a calculated power move from Vladimir Putin designed to weaken the United States and humiliate its president on our own soil.

Trump is meeting Putin in a location that is historically and symbolically loaded. Alaska was sold by Russia to the United States 158 years ago. For Putin, meeting there is about more than geography. It is about projecting dominance, legitimizing his imperial ambitions, and sending a signal to Russian nationalists who dream of reclaiming Alaska. Trump is giving him the stage to do it.

Ukrainian officials have been blocked from the talks entirely. That was Putin’s request and Trump agreed.

This is the same Trump who has repeatedly promised to end the war yet has only moved deadlines, walked back ultimatums, and made empty boasts about deals that never came. NATO leaders know the danger here.

Putin will push for concessions. Trump will call it a deal. Ukraine will be forced to give up land. And once Putin gets land, he will come back for more.

Alaska was not chosen at random. It allows Putin to travel over the North Pole without risking Ukrainian interception. It gives him the ability to walk on United States soil while thumbing his nose at international law. And it gives him the symbolic high ground of standing in what he views as stolen territory. Trump is giving him all of this willingly.

Billboards in Russia have for years proclaimed “Alaska is ours.” Now Trump has agreed to meet Putin there while his propagandists cheer for its return.

Unless Putin is arrested on arrival this will go down as one of the most humiliating moments in United States history. And if history has shown us anything it is that concessions to Putin do not bring peace. They bring more war.

We are watching an American president lay the red carpet for a war criminal. The stakes are bigger than Ukraine. This is about whether the United States will remain a global power or cede the stage to an alliance of dictators determined to dismantle democracy worldwide.
