Pete Buttigieg has a real knack for saying all the right things at the right time, he's a real pro with communication. I wish the Dems had more "Pete's" around, they could use more like him.

Importantly, the bros told Pete clearly what would make their followers support these common goals. They kept talking about “what is your wall” — meaning Trump gave them what they considered concrete examples of exactly HOW he would get these things done. When Pete pushed back on the fact that the the wall didn’t happen, they stressed that it really didn’t matter whether these things were ABLE to be done or not, but you can’t just say, “We want this” without saying something concrete about how you are going to go about getting it. They actually said that it’s okay to make something up, really try to do it and if you can’t, oh well. But not giving something that people can wrap their heads around as being concrete (like the wall) will just go in one ear and out the other.
I think it’s super important at this moment to at least consider this advice as a strategy going forward or at least to understand where their followers are coming from.
Pete is one of the best communicators around. He can talk to anyone who wants to listen.

I don’t know if the name Democrat Party will ever make a comeback. It’s been demonized by too many people.
I definitely don’t have all the answers but, I like the idea of a Progressive Party.
Specifically this rebranding would need to point out everything Pete said in this interview.
Pete should be at the top of the ticket too, unfortunately the U.S. is full of many Bigots.
