Common sense is needed to answer this question. If Renee Nicole Good was intending to run over her murderer, why would she turn her wheels to the right?

And say sweetly twice, "I'm not mad at you" while genuinely smiling.

This link informs how Jonathan Ross may have been practicing a tactic to manufacture reason to fire his weapon as was found to be the practice at Border Patrol when he was employed there. His actions seem to evidence that maneuver, switching the phone from right to left and taking a lean-in position to fire at the windshield in the initial shot to possibly create the scenario of a vehicle heading directly at him.

The one thing that keeps going through my head is how smooth his movements were, he didn't hesitate... like it was something he'd done a thousand times before. Renee Good was a white woman, and her murder was caught on camera from multiple angles, yet there are an alarming number of people who *still* believe the narrative that she'd been the aggressor. How many immigrants have met a similar end on a dark, desolate road with no one to tell their tale?

Which the shooters own video clearly shows.

JavaJunkyMonkey's avatar

There was NO violence until trump put his goons on the ground there. It was peaceful.

Cheryl's avatar

Yes - and - the republicans are more concerned about Jerome Powell. We can see where their hearts are. In their wallets.

Melissa Brechbiel's avatar

Well, frankly, I don't believe the Democrats are concerned as they should be either because if they were, we'd be seeing them, do something I'm done with them just as much.

Nancy Prevost's avatar

Please pay more n attentiin. A lot of time.

Trump has these goals: 1) inflict pain on people of color, 2) punish blue cities that didn’t vote for him, 3) distract attention from the Epstein files, and 4) do Putin’s bidding, which is ultimately destroying the US.

Peter Ormiston's avatar

5) steal as much as he can for himself from the likes of Venezuela and Greenland, 6) and most importantly keep out of jail.

You are so right Kim

Sounds like January 6,2021 all over again Adam. Such a poor state America is living. The result of one "person" and his [ADMINISTRATION?]. God Bless America 🇺🇸 🙏 ❤️ without this "person" and his [ADMINISTRATION?] ever AGAIN. Eh!. Much love from 🇨🇦.

Concerned Citizen's avatar

You hit the nail on the head. However, I refuse to call this an administration…. it’s a regime!

Joanne Gatsis's avatar

My thoughts exactly! I was about to comment to stop calling it an "administration!" It is a "REGIME!" Call it out as it is!

Roy Joseph Maxwell's avatar

I have been stating since January of 2025 , that this is a Fascist Regime

Leah Baum's avatar

President Obama and President Biden was an administration. Felon 47 is a regime.

Professor Smartass's avatar

It's a reality TV show about a lynch mob.

Winston Smith London Oceania's avatar

We can also call it a misadministration, although regime is probably more accurate at this point.

Nancy Prevost's avatar

It's an ego-stroking club and for that price they get to pay out their worst instincts.

Winston Smith London Oceania's avatar

Indeed, some of the insurrectionists Trumpkopf pardoned later got hired by the ICE Gestapo.

A Pat's avatar

This is a prelude to what they want to do in every state, not just blue ones. Any level headed republican in Congress (there are a few) should oppose this. Otherwise, they are fools to think it won’t happen in their state.

Winston Smith London Oceania's avatar

That's probably true, but it's the blue states where most of the resistance is.

A Pat's avatar

Of course. And, these reps who think their states won’t be touched are fooling themselves. ICE in red states aren’t masking. Not all of them, anyway.

As a Dutch citizen🇳🇱, I don't understand why so many federal officers do this work without apparently considering human rights and the fact that so many people simply have the right to be where they are. Do these officers have no self-esteem and are they simply following their command? This is so shocking to witness. Moreover, when this terrible time is over, what will happen to these people?

Pamela S.'s avatar

I think it takes a certain type of person to do this work of street thuggery. They love chaos and violence - they have no intention of respecting human rights. Except their own.

Sue Munda's avatar

These are the white supremists and scum (proud boys, etc.) that beat the Capitol police & smeared their shit all over the White House. That’s why the pedophile released them from prison, so they could be his nazi storm troopers.

Cathy Delia's avatar

Most of them are doing it for the money and this is what they are trained to do.

Amy in Jersey's avatar

Sadly, more than the money, I think they are doing it for the power trip. It’s no fluke that they are hiring people who washed out of the police academy or who never passed a psych evaluation for the police. These are “buffs”—wanna-be cops who aren’t fit for real law enforcement. I don’t understand why any LEO would support these assholes

Professor Smartass's avatar

Is there a link for the washout and psych eval stuff?

That would be a good one to spread around.

Debbie Ross's avatar

Some will go to prison. Some will go...who cares.

Roy Joseph Maxwell's avatar

No! Those officers do not have any esteem. They are receiving massive payments for their involvement in ICE which include many of the 1,500 who marched on the Capitol Buildings and caused an Insurrection, in which some lives were lost. Others are thugs who joined to receive large payouts for their involvement

PlasticFish's avatar

These are people who've been hired specifically because they're racist bullyboys. Many of them are January 6 convicts who were pardoned by Trump.

Winston Smith London Oceania's avatar

They're like the brown shirts in 1933.

MLC's avatar

Thank you for asking, as a Dutch person wondering about American behavior. The behavior of the ICE officers is illegal, and in the fairly recent past it would have been called ‘unAmerican’.

The most depressing thud is that progress had indeed been made in the post-WW2 era. Not perfect, far from it! The arc toward fairness among people was sometimes promising, though slow ~ but enlightening, & enlightened, in our best moments.

Enough people were fooled into voting for this conman who now heads our country, in 2016 & 2024, that we now have an unprecedented situation in which illegal & unconstitutional behavior has been normalized — ‘normalized’ in the sense that nobody has really stopped it yet. Most Americans know it is not & should not be ‘normal’.

Of course there has been corruption in the past. Of course there have been power-hungry & clueless leaders. Even the Founders in the 18th century knew this could happen, and they tried to prevent it by setting up the American system of government — a new thing at the time.

But this horrific outcome of now choosing such willfully destructive people who essentially DON’T BELIEVE IN GOVERNMENT — they certainly don’t believe in democratic government — is an object lesson for everyone, showing how things can go terribly, terribly wrong.

The people currently in power don’t believe in the rule of law. People on the OTHER side do believe in the rule of law & the Constitution.

But what can they do when they’re in the minority in D.C.? And when a third of the populace hasn’t figured out who is damaging their own lives & their children’s & grandchildren’s future?

This has been a learning experience, since we have discovered the rule of law here is TOO SLOW to confront & stop criminal behavior.

Ironically, this is partly because the Founders in the 18th c. did not want any ‘cruel & unusual punishment’ for scofflaws, and wanted protections for the accused that were not in place in other countries.

Although we supposedly guarantee a swift and fair trial, our judiciary is bogged down. Too few judges; many chances for wealthy defendants to appeal, yes, but otherwise also to delay & delay. For-profit jails, when the Founders insisted upon doing away with debtors’ prisons.

Moneyed interests have fought tooth & nail against improvements for the U.S. population at large. Enormous wealth is now in the hands of too few — a powerful few. Rivals, but Cronies as well.

The rich have pushed their own agenda to the detriment of the rest of everyone, and now enough of them haven’t yet bailed out of the sputtering plane on the realization that an authoritarian regime has indeed taken hold, and the truly evil henchpersons are unlikely to give up control of the trip, even though the oil & A.I. barons and others who thought they’d be in control, after financing the coup d’état, may now understand that they’ve been supporting authoritarian playbooks of the past brought into the present, and may want to back away. Too late?

The most embarrassing thing in front of the whole world is that indeed there are villainous puppeteers, but even worse: the puppet himself — the caricature under whose every whim the country is reeling over & over again, is a deeply stupid, ill-educated, ignorant, shameless, demented, egomaniacal leader of ‘liars unlimited’, who exudes the empathy of a serial killer. And Americans elected him.

And thanks to our current out-of-balance of powers, the lawbreakers go scot-free, the successful ‘vast right-wing conspiracy’ has put 6 Republican operatives on the SCOTUS, and we are in a fix.

If our side didn’t believe in due process, we could kidnap the figurehead, as well as Miller, Vance, Vought, Navarro, and many others, and send them to …

Guantánamo? El Salvador? Sudan?

Libya? … You choose! It’ll be at midnight! Then we’d never have to see them or hear from them again.

But we believe in the rule of law…

Don’t we?

What I will never wrap my head around is how many still defend and support the orange thing in the WH, the regime, and the daily onslaught of chaos they create. I was appalled, sickened, and outraged by all the negative comments to a FB post by a Philadelphia news station covering Philly's anti-ice protests and public outcry in the aftermath of Renee Nicole Good's murder. How can anyone not see what really happened and feel outraged and saddened themselves.

Cathy Delia's avatar

Either they are buying the false narrative or they are just as cruel themselves.

Bec Keegan's avatar

It's the “leopards" eat my face” syndrome - it's not happening to them, or where they can see it personally, therefore it's all fake and everything is just fine and dandy. And apparently everyone who tries to sound the warning is putting out “panic porn”.

Nancy Prevost's avatar

They are reprobate.

Chad Jablonskiwicz's avatar

It's only a matter of time until ICE sacrifices one of their own in a false flag operation so they can pin it on an immigrant or Antifa and declare martial law. All their poking and prodding haven't achieved the desired result of violent retaliation, so they're going to have to take it into their own hands. Since the "investigation" will be handled by DHS and the FBI, they'll be able to spin the narrative however they want.

Cathy Delia's avatar

I hope you're not right, but it sounds like something they would do.

PlasticFish's avatar

They tried with Kirk, but the world just sort of said, "Meh", and ignored it.

I appreciate this post. Call it what it is: state intimidation dressed up as enforcement. Fear is the strategy, not the side effect. Minnesota taking this to court matters because accountability is the only language power like this understands—and because refusing to accept this as normal is how people (we) push back and protect each other.

Cathy Mieczkowski's avatar

This is all very terrifying. We need to stay peaceful and not take the bait. Sending the military in would make the orange monster’s day. Don’t

let that happen. We will prevail and be rid of this fascist regime this year.

Deborah Murphy's avatar

Minisota is obviously under siege by violent terrorist should the governor call out the national guard?

I honestly don't know what he's waiting for.

Lolo Me's avatar

Theyneed to treat this whole thing like a natural disaster.Just tell everybody everybody to stay inside.I mean, don't go outside for anything.I hate that , but I mean , what would they do then

Neftali Marrero's avatar

Yet they do nothing to protect there citizens except lawsuits, we need 🎬 action ,fisical activate the national guard, city cops ,state police to arrest all masked thugs harassing ,raping, stealing causing chaos for reaction and the citizens can hold on so much so need to start using our law enforcement and prosecution powers to take masked thugs off the streets, ARREST, PROSECUTE,IMPRISON

I keep emailing the Minnesota Police, asking why they’re not protecting their people! That’s their job description!!🤬
