MAGA Accounts BUSTED after ELON EXPOSES THEM!
I’m gonna be honest. I’ve been waiting for this moment for years. Every time we warned people about foreign ops propping up MAGA online we got called hysterical. We got mocked for even suggesting that an entire political movement depended on bot farms in Eastern Europe, Nigeria, Bangladesh, and Macedonia pretending to be “PatriotMom93” from Ohio.
Then Elon flipped a switch.
He built a feature that shows the origin of every account. And in about five seconds his own platform exposed half the MAGA ecosystem as foreign operations pretending to be Americans. It’s the biggest self-own I’ve seen in tech in a long time. And what’s wild is how fast the mask came off once the receipts were visible. All the “grassroots patriots” they boosted for years suddenly turned out to be logging in from places that don’t exactly have Fourth of July cookouts.
People on the left have been shouting about this since 2016. We got dismissed as conspiracy theorists while saying the most basic thing imaginable: if our elections are constantly flooded with racist, violent propaganda, and if it all happens to track with Russia’s geopolitical goals, maybe we should question where it’s coming from.
But now you can literally click a button. You don’t need an intelligence briefing. You just scroll.
Eric Trump fan accounts running out of Macedonia. Ivanka “news” accounts based in Nigeria. A whole rotating cast of “America First” handles tweeting from Bangladesh. It reads like parody until you realize these accounts shape the entire online narrative. They’re the ones pushing misogyny, racism, anti-democracy rhetoric. They’re the ones trying to turn Americans against each other at scale.
This isn’t harmless. Every democracy that collapses first collapses in the mind. If you can convince enough people that their neighbors are enemies instead of citizens, you’ve already done most of the work. That’s why Russia and Iran don’t need tanks on our soil. They have Elon’s website, and they have a player base of people who don’t realize they’re reading propaganda from six thousand miles away.
The funniest part is how predictable all of this is if you spend any time online. The far right screams about “foreign infiltration” while retweeting a botnet in India. They rant about “saving America” while half their movement is being operated by people who couldn’t pick America out on a map. They claim they’re fighting globalism while being bankrolled by the most global disinformation machine on earth.
Micah and I talk about this all the time. He was one of the first people to really map out how much online warfare shapes elections. And he was right. These accounts don’t just push lies. They control the conversation. They drown out pro-democracy voices. They artificially inflate reactionary narratives to make them look mainstream. They turn the internet into a rigged battlefield where the side defending democracy has to fight against an army that never sleeps, never stops posting, and never actually lives here.
The right loved it when nobody could prove it. They loved the fog. They loved the plausible deniability. Now? All it took was one transparency toggle and suddenly the entire MAGA influencer pipeline looks like a global call center of sock puppets pretending they care about the Supreme Court.
And now they’re panicking. Suddenly they’re insisting it doesn’t matter where accounts are from. Suddenly they’re pretending they don’t know the accounts they’ve boosted for years. Suddenly Elon is “glitching” or “broken” or “biased.” They’re scrambling because the whole operation looks naked.
The truth is simple. MAGA has never been organic. It has always been fed, inflated, manipulated and weaponized by foreign actors who benefit most from a divided America. And Elon just showed the world the wiring.
I’ll take the vindication, but I’d rather have a country not held hostage by foreign propaganda networks and a billionaire who treats political influence like a video game he can mod.
If you’re online, this is the battlefield. Don’t let a Macedonian bot with an eagle avatar convince you the country is falling apart. It’s not. They just need you to believe it is.

Even if Musk built in an “origin” feature, he still is a scum sucking rat.
Imagine that! And everyone that interacts with these profiles are making them money with every reaction and comment.
