Kash Patel Throws TEMPER TANTRUM as the FBI falls apart
I have been saying for months that Kash Patel is in way over his head and now we finally have the receipts. A group of current and former FBI officials just compiled a massive 115 page report describing the Bureau under Patel as completely rudderless and all messed up. Their words, not mine. This is the kind of internal revolt you see when things are truly off the rails.
The report outlines a long pattern of humiliating mistakes. Patel prematurely announced the FBI had stopped a terror attack which let the suspect escape. He twice claimed to have the killer in custody in the Kirk case before walking it back. He announced a full force manhunt for the National Guard attacker when the killer had been in custody the entire time. He is so obsessed with social media optics that he is neglecting the basics of running the FBI.
You can see the insecurity dripping off of him every time he speaks. He walks around with wide eyes like he is hoping nobody asks him what is going on even though he is the one in charge. He is not a mastermind. He is not a strategist. He is a guy who always looks like he is trying to convince himself he belongs in the room.
Instead of learning from the disasters he caused, Patel has been using taxpayer dollars to fly his girlfriend around on government planes. He sent a SWAT team to act as her personal security detail. Past directors took a handful of personal flights across several years. Patel burned through more in ten months than Robert Mueller did in an entire term. And Patel used a government jet to fly to an exclusive golf resort in Scotland for a getaway with his buddies. That is not public service. That is self service.
Then we get to the tantrum. The one that tells you everything you need to know about who he is. According to the agents involved, Patel refused to step off the plane after the Kirk assassination unless he had an FBI raid jacket. They scrambled to find one. None of the large or extra large jackets would fit him, so they had to take a medium from a female special agent. And once he finally had it, he still refused to get off the plane because two of the Velcro sleeve patches were missing. So SWAT agents stopped their work, removed their own patches, and ran them to the director so he could pose for cameras
.I wish this was a joke. This meltdown wasted more than 30 minutes of time in the middle of a major investigation. He treated the entire situation like a photo shoot because his self image mattered more than the job he was supposed to be doing.
That mindset is at the core of this entire administration. It is optics over substance every single time. Trump surrounds himself with people who care more about looking powerful on camera than exercising actual power responsibly. When you put people with that level of insecurity in charge of institutions that are supposed to protect the country, you get exactly what we are seeing now. Chaos, paranoia, and constant failure.
The report says FBI personnel had to write this because things have gotten so bad under Patel that they felt they needed a formal record of his incompetence. They describe him as insecure and overwhelmed. They say the Bureau is all over the place and rudderless. His behavior is so erratic he even ordered a polygraph test to root out people he thought were criticizing him. That is absolutely not leadership. That is insecurity sliding into paranoia.
This comes days after Trump was forced to publicly deny that he is considering firing Patel. Patel is still trying to cosplay the tough guy job he begged for even as the people working under him are documenting how unfit he is for it.
We need an administration in 2028 that understands what the DOJ is supposed to be. A place that restores a sense of justice, not one that treats government jets like personal toys or uses SWAT teams to impress a girlfriend. People like Steve Witkoff, Pete Hegseth, and anyone else who abused power under this presidency deserve a real investigation. And while Patel has not been accused of a crime, he has shown a level of cringe and incompetence that should disqualify him from ever holding a role like this again.
This entire situation is bigger than one jacket tantrum. It is the inevitable outcome of letting unqualified loyalists run the country’s most powerful institutions. Thank you all for reading. Let’s keep pushing for a government that sets a higher standard than this.

Entire regime is reality TV cosplay and it is turning our country inside out. What's left of it. And Patel’s ineptness puts everyone under him in constant danger.
