JD Vance Almost Killed His Family Member

The fallout of his total capitulation to Putin is hitting close to home

JD Vance’s cousin, Nate Vance, is a real patriot who served alongside him in the Marines. More recently, he fought voluntarily to defend Ukraine against Russia’s invasion, and now he has harsh words for Vance.

“They are wrong. The Russians are not about to forget our support for Ukraine. We are Vladimir Putin’s useful idiots.”

Referring to the ambush against Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy by President Donald Trump and Vance, Nate Vance called it:

“an ambush of absolute bad faith”.

Echoing the sentiments seen across the globe following the hostile confrontation between the two presidents, Nate Vance—a Texan and former U.S. Marine—volunteered for the Da Vinci Wolves First Motorized Battalion from 2022 until January 2025, just after J.D. took office, noting that he couldn’t risk being captured.

Vance doesn't know what service means. He disrespected Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz's decades of service to our country, and now he's risking the life of his own cousin to appease a Russian dictator, with rumors of U.S. intelligence being given to Russia spreading.

Our president trusts Kremlin-approved information more than that of his own agencies, so are we surprised our vice president would trust his X algorithmically manipulated “For You” page over his own cousin on the front lines?

“His own cousin was on the frontlines. I could have told him the truth, without personal interest. He never tried to find out more.”

The people of Ukraine and the global community at large will never forget this betrayal.

Ukraine deserves security guarantees, and a peace deal without these guarantees is effectively handing Russia the opportunity for another invasion on a platter. They’ve shown time and time again that they will disobey the terms of a peace negotiation as long as they think they will win—and right now, Trump is telling Putin in plain terms that the U.S. is on Russia’s side.
