The hell with his supporters. I don’t care what tf they say or do. Hopefully they throw themselves off a bridge soon. Or move to Russia. I care about the corruption, the cruelty, the lawlessness and I want these people on trial and then in jail. Though for traitors, a firing squad would be nice.

Keep telling people the truth of what is happening. The ones who listen are the ones worth caring about.

In order for a firing squad to happen we would need the rule of law. We do not have the rule of law in corporate America. Something like the French revolution needs to happen under their needs to be something globally similar to Norenberg. Humanity needs to remove all the parasites.

Exactly! The French didn’t whine about the oppressors of humanity, they brought them to the guillotine. It probably vastly improved the French gene pool.

Gosh Adam you think our democrats are paying attention?? If they are they’re sure as hell are not putting it succinctly like you are, much less doing shit about it. Guess they figure since SCOTUS is on the take, might as well fold their arms & go home. We all see what is happening in real time & yet CRICKETS. Whoever decides to run for president, if they want my vote, they better sure as hell be talking about clawing back all of the ill gained money that the Trump regime made illegally off the presidency, as well as imprisonment for taking these illegal actions to weaken our government. They also better talk about taxing the wealthy big time in order to return money stolen from our government because of their fealty to Trump, along with the tax breaks that they have gotten over the years that have made them billionaires in the first place. If we are to ever recover and fix the socioeconomic disaster in our country, then the next president and elected officials need to hold to account everyone who has stolen from our country, or used our country to steal money. We can no longer do business as usual like past presidents who did nothing to hold the last one accountable, i.e., nixon (watergate), bush (war crimes) reagan (iran contra). I am no longer marching to the fucking polls to place a vote for wimpy ass Democrats who don’t have the balls to stand up to GOP thieves & criminals. As of right now all I see is the same tired ass names who want to play politics, but don’t want to do the hard work that’s necessary to call out & hold to account political criminals.

Progressive voices like Adam (and us who listen) are key to propelling the better politicians forward. Consider the following quotes:

"I agree with you, I want to do it, now make me do it." - Franklin Delanor Roosevelt

Don't just blame it soly on politicians. "They need to be held accountable" doesn't work if no one starts to demand accountability. It is your civil duty to fight for your democracy. Actively! You have the power of the people. You're massive. You can change things. Be loud, be peaceful but be determined to create change.

Except Trump is already the president and once this term ends he won't be able to be president again. His ratings are already the lowest of any president in history, anyone reading this article already hates Trump and will be voting Dems come the midterm, it's as much of an echo chamber as Truth Social is. The only reason to gain information on a problem is to figure out a way to address it, otherwise what's the point? I'm saying this as a social scientist, we have reached a point of diminishing returns by focusing on the things Trump does that we can't change. Continuing to do so just provides people validation for their hatred without a solution to it. It's dangerous and toxic and exactly the same method the Right uses to instill loyalty in their followers. Right now our focus should be on Congress because they are the ones who can do something about it and haven't. They are our actual abusers. We lose sight of that by continuing to focus on our hatred. Now, there are certain things Trump does that are important to know so we can go to our State reps and be like "Hey, ew, no." This isn't that. This is just an article full of reasons to hate Trump....which we already do.

Expand full comment
DavidPageYea's avatar

What Trump is doing now is very relevant for future, for the following reasons:

(1) We've seen hell already in the first year, and he's got 3 more years [no, I don't believe he will be impeached even if democrats gain majorities in both houses in 2026]

(2) Trump is still the "master mold" for every republican politician [Even as some are beginning to distance themselves from Trump himself, they still embrace every policy (save tariffs) and wish to copy his leadership style].

(3) "an article full of reasons to hate" - You use "hate" and "reason" in the same sentence. Hatred is generally regarded as non-productive, but reasoning is not. Reasoning out Trump's effectiveness and effects is important to understanding what we are up against for the remainder of Trump's next 3 years and beyond. We have only what we see before us to go on to gauge what looms ahead in the future.

Expand full comment
Kate D's avatar

But what is the point of one knowing if one is not going to take meaningful action on the information, you know? Also "reasons" doesn't imply "reasoning." But I'm not sure that's super relevant.

Expand full comment
DavidPageYea's avatar

Which actions may be effective is difficult to determine. Protests such as "No Kings" may be ignored by members of congress, but they nevertheless galvanize resistance. You can send messages to your reps in congress (I do). If you have any ideas of your own, please articulate [but being a naysayer isn't helpful].

Expand full comment
Scooterboi60's avatar

The only thing worth anything in that rant of yours is mentioning the idea of coming up with a solution.

I have posted comments many times that congress, courts or any other institution is not going to do anything about it. That leaves you, the people. The moron isn’t intending to leave the White House except in a coffin so, whether there are midterms or not, it is up to you to do something to remove him and get him finally imprisoned. I hope I don’t have to spell out what “something” means.

Expand full comment
Kate D's avatar

You absolutely do have to spell out what "something" means. You can't just dismiss everything I said as useless, tell me to come up with a solution, and then get cryptic about it. That's not productive.

Repeating clearly information that might pass through too quickly isn’t click bait if you only click due to the title that’s a bit of information about you? Look backwards from today to before Christmas Eve some information could be not in the forefront of your mind even more important try looking at the first day of December!? The chaos is a bit effective even for people trying to pay close attention so repeat of how horrific the corruption is in DT’s regime is fine in my book! Keep up the great work Adam❣️

Kate D's avatar

Oh, I fully acknowledge that the title elicited interest from me. I won't deny that weakness in myself. Haha I thought it may be an update on the Epstein files. But since it's inactionable and well-known information, it's clickbait. Otherwise it would have been titled, "Recap of [insert subject here]" not, "I'm exposing it all...." when he's not exposing anything. Much of what he said has been covered for months in the mainstream and local and independent news outlets, as well as by Adam himself. I'm totally fine with a recap. I think if this article was just presented as relaying information it'd be totally fine, like, "Remember all this? It's what we call pay-for-play" or whatever he called it (I apologize if that's wrong, hopefully you understand my point). But this was presented as new information which should cause "outrage" and that's dangerous. I responded to another comment on my original comment about how we've gotten to the point of diminishing returns. I hope you read that just because I'd be interested to hear your viewpoint on it.

Since this was the basis for my belief that this article was clickbait, and it was just my own faulty memory, I obviously no longer believe this article was clickbait. THE COMMON GOOD MANIFESTO

A society built for people, not predators.

We are at our best when we invest in each other.

We are at our worst when we abandon the vulnerable.

This manifesto is how we return to the common good.

I. DIGNITY AND JUSTICE

1. Release the Epstein files — full transparency, no exceptions.

2. Impeach, convict, and imprison Donald Trump and every handler who enabled his corruption.

3. No federal office for any convicted felon.

4. End the weaponization of the justice system against the poor, immigrants, LGBTQ people, and marginalized communities.

II. DEMOCRACY THAT ACTUALLY WORKS

1. Abolish the Electoral College — one person, one vote.

2. Abolish ICE — replace it with humane immigration policy that honors human rights.

3. Ban gerrymandering with a standardized national apportionment method.

4. Two-term limits for every elected office.

5. Mandatory retirement at 70 for all elected officials.

6. Paper ballots only — end the era of hackable voting machines.

III. AN ECONOMY THAT SERVES PEOPLE

1. Restore 1950s-style progressive tax rates — when America was prosperous and fair.

2. Overturn Citizens United — corporations are not people.

3. Eliminate the Social Security payroll cap and tax capital gains for Social Security contributions.

4. $25 minimum wage indexed to inflation.

5. Medicare for All, one unified system — no A/B/C/D maze.

6. Congress receives Medicare, not boutique private insurance.

IV. WORKERS, CREATIVES, AND PUBLIC SERVANTS

1. Big pay raises for social workers, teachers, librarians, artists, and cultural workers — the people who actually hold society together.

2. Universal childcare — because families are the foundation of the nation.

3. Free public university education.

4. Full forgiveness of all student debt.

V. CLEAN GOVERNMENT

1. Root out corruption at every level, starting at the top.

2. Full financial transparency for every elected official, appointee, and senior bureaucrat.

3. Ban lobbying for former officeholders for life.

VI. THE FUTURE WE CHOOSE

We choose a country that values:

• Compassion over cruelty

• Community over greed

• Truth over propaganda

• Shared prosperity over billionaire hoarding

• Democracy over minority rule

• Human dignity over corporate profit

We choose a nation where the common good is not a slogan, but the organizing principle of public life.

And we refuse to apologize for demanding better.
