I spent an hour with President Obama... here's what happened.
Here are my takeaways from my roundtable with the former President.
Hi everyone, thank you as always for being part of this incredible community.
I want to share something personal and powerful with you. Yesterday, I had the honor of sitting down with President Barack Obama and five other brilliant creators for a private conversation about social media, organizing, and the future of the Democratic Party.
And in a unique twist of events… President Obama wasn’t there to talk to us.
He was there to learn from us.

The conversation was off-the-record, so I won’t share specifics. But what I can tell you is this: watching President Obama lead the room was a masterclass in what real leadership looks like.
He didn’t just show up, he was locked in. Every word, every idea, every person. He tracked every point, looped back to tie thoughts together, and somehow brought six wildly different perspectives into one powerful, cohesive discussion.
He moderated that room like we were world leaders at a global summit. And I left with a fire lit under me to do more, lead better, and fight harder for the future we believe in.
This meeting reminded me just how much work is still ahead—and why this moment matters.
President Obama took time to truly listen to young voices and digital creators. That means the work we’re doing here—building independent media, amplifying the truth, reaching voters where they are—it’s working. It’s being noticed. And it’s needed now more than ever
This is your reminder: if you’ve been meaning to subscribe to this Substack, now’s the time.
Every subscription funds the next big conversation, the next big video, the next big breakthrough.
Let’s keep going. Let’s keep building. Let’s keep showing the world what pro-democracy media powered by real people can do.
Thanks for being here. Let’s finish this week strong.
Way to go, Adam! 💙
President Obama, you are greatly missed! 💙
Impressive! I’d be over the moon and back infinity! Just wow!🤩 👏
