However, I think that all of our protestations against Trump are becoming nothing more than a collective ringing of hands.

I realise that with his weaponisation of the levers of powers he has at his disposal makes it very difficult and any excuse you or others give him will result in criminal charges etc, but you, me, all of us need to step up our game to get rid of this disgusting human being ASAP.
