I Just Got Off CNN. Here Are My Unfiltered Thoughts.

I’m writing this after getting off the plane back to Chicago. I’m running on fumes right now but I wanted to touch base about my CNN appearance and break down some of the key moments.

This was my first time on CNN. I was on NewsNight with Abby Phillip and it was a wild experience. I went in ready for a real debate but pretty quickly I realized the people I was up against were not ready at all.

Kevin O’Leary completely dodged the core question I asked him about inflation. Instead of answering, he pivoted to the stock market like that was some kind of solution for working people. But the stock market is not the economy. It dropped hard after Trump’s “Liberation Day” tariffs and the truth is nobody believes Trump anymore. He has done so many back and forths with no results that even his own base is starting to notice.

Angie Wong was very friendly off camera but on air she kept using the same kind of deflection tactics. It was clear they had no real answers on inflation or immigration or anything else. All they could do was try to change the subject and hope nobody noticed.
