I don't want this to sound like an insult, cuz it's meant to be a compliment. I think Adam Mockler would be a great progressive "Turning Point USA" equivalent. I want the rich Dems to fund him building a progressive equivalent. He's smart and charismatic.

Since it is not legal to punch a liar in the mouth although it should be legal, the next best thing when it comes to dealing with a liar is to humiliate them publicly. That’s a psychological wound and those wounds don’t heal.

Obviously the hard core MAGAts need to stay with their kind. But there are many high school and college kids who are easily swayed. And fun optimistic “work for change vibes” sways better than lectures about Graham Platner’s tattoo choices!

The problem with MAGA is that it is a cult of personality. There is no ideology involved — only personalism.
So to try and bring logic to people that did not arrive there via logic is so often a lost cause. In every sense, these supporters are cultists; programmed through emotion and propaganda.
This is why the only thing that seems to slightly shift the needle with them, is when something happens to them and affects them personally — and even then, sometimes that is not enough.
So while you excelled here and made excellent points, it won’t do much to shift the thinking of these individuals.
The best we can do is be there when they voice concern, and wake up. Be a bridge and have the door be open.
How MAGA is definitely a cult but it is more than a cult. It is a cult in the way that the Ku Klux Klan is a cult and that the proud boys are a cult and that the Epstein crowd was a cult. I've enjoyed watching you for 4 years now. I'm 55 so your my children's age, so forgive me when I refer to all of you as kids. You make me proud. These kids made me feel very concerned. They go to college and really don't see the serious issues with Trump, White Christian Nationalism, and fascism. Their freedoms and futures are on the line. I just keep thinking all school age children need education in history, as well as their parents. I believe in perpetual learning. I hope that when they finish school, they will continue to learn and ponder. I have read and listened to about 40 books a year. When one studies, it's easy to see connections and patterns, and the truth reveals itself.
Thanks for putting yourself out there. Hopefully, they went home and researched abd pondered some of what you said.
