I think you should have described the horrible position Maga put the Democrats in with regard to the CR/budget reconciliation and how this affected Schumer's position and that of AOC. Why this was a problem for the Democrats was purely due to to the Republican refusal to include them in the discussion/proposals. Republicans put Democrats between a rock and a hard place.

those who are in the public sphere, like you and other Podcasters, like elected Dems, need better messaging discipline. short phrases that pack a punch. I can't say I know what these would be, but that guy you were debating had a litany of them, and each one "sounded" right or good, even though I'm completely aware how wrong the whole maga mindset is. Maybe sonething about "Due Process is the foundation of our constitution"... or "kings behave like this." Or "they enacted this innapropriate law bc Trump wanted to have a video to show." Or, several of the deported people were sent back vc they are women (and the prison in El Salvador doesn't allow women).
I also think these "hosts" need the tables turned. Maybe someone could say to them "Did you watch the entire clip?"
We need to be on offense and ready to combat the framing they use
