For three full weeks, Elon Musk didn’t say a word about politics. Not about Trump. Not about Congress. Not even a stray post on foreign policy. For anyone else, that might seem normal. For Elon, it was a red flag. And now we know why.
Elon Musk was not retreating. He was reloading.
This week, Musk stepped back into the political arena with the subtlety of a rocket launch. He came out swinging against Donald Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill,” called it a job killer, warned Republicans they were walking into political suicide, and even posted internal polling that showed the bill was wildly unpopular.
He wasn’t subtle. “This bill will destroy millions of jobs and cause immense strategic harm,” Musk posted on X. Then he hit harder. “Polls show this bill is political suicide for the Republican Party.”
This wasn’t just a policy critique. This was a warning shot from a billionaire with a $367 billion war chest and a massive global platform. He made one thing very clear. He’s not going anywhere.
Trump has yet to respond. But this is more than a feud. Trump needs this bill passed before July 4. It guts social programs, slashes clean energy investments, and raises the debt ceiling. The Senate is set to begin debate on June 29. Republican lawmakers are already nervous about the backlash. Musk just gave them another reason to worry.
Musk’s return to politics is bold, but it is also risky. Just a few months ago, he was fully aligned with Trump. He helped bankroll the campaign, ran the so-called Department of Government Efficiency, and pushed Trump’s hardline agenda. The fallout was brutal. Tesla took a beating. Global protests erupted. Shareholders revolted. And by the end of May, Musk was out.
Then came the meltdown. On June 5, Musk and Trump went to war online. They traded personal insults. Musk got dragged by the MAGA base. He had to apologize and delete one of his most brutal posts about Trump.
Now the silence is over and Musk is launching a new offensive.
And it doesn’t stop with domestic politics.
In a wild moment, Musk also inserted himself directly into a conflict with Iran. After the Ayatollah of Iran threatened Israel over recent US airstrikes, Musk fired back on X.
“Is America the Great Satan or the Greatest Satan?”
The Ayatollah didn’t respond, but Musk couldn’t help himself. He followed up with a smug post — “Only on X” — as if global conflict was just another engagement metric.
For anyone who thought Musk was stepping back to focus on his businesses, this was a clear signal. He still wants to shape the narrative. He still wants to be at the center of every headline. And if that means picking fights with Trump and the Ayatollah, so be it.
The real question now is who decides to hit back, and how much chaos Musk is willing to cause in the meantime.

We see what the hatred of Musk did to wake him up because it affected his pocket book. Now we must do the same with all the Oligarchs funding this piece of shit regime. This is the new battlefield. Marching and calling trump names has no affect on him - but the money being fed to him does. STOP THE MONEY - STOP THE OLIGARCHS. Call them out and anyone who supports them, like Oprah Winfrey going to Bezos billion dollar wedding. They are supporting and giving comfort to the money changers that fund this evil regime. CALL THEM OUT - stop with the decorum, stop with the niceties - this is the new battlefield - STOP THE OLIGARCHS!!
Musk did get one thing right. The BBB is a total disaster. I wish he would tell something that we don't already know and back it up with receipts. If you can, please go to Change.orgThe People's Petition For Global Against Authoritarianism. Read the one dated May 5, 2025
